I love the vibrant colors and sense of coming change I feel in September. It is almost Autumn. In this photo I took at the Cal Poly Arboretum I created a feeling of movement by rotating the camera as I took the shot. A long shutter speed is needed to use this technique. DANCING is how I feel about September - which just happens to be my birthday month.
Next month I will be participating in OPEN STUDIO along with over 250 other artists in San Luis Obispo County, CA. Over three weekends in October we will open our studios and invite the public to come and see where we create our art. It is a wonderful opportunity for both the artist and those who love art. I'll post more about it next time.
